Facebook has acquired nextstop, a travel recommendation startup founded by former Google engineers. Plans are to close nextstop, as Facebook appears more interested in engineers Carl Sjogreen and Adrian Graham. The nextstop technology could be used in a location product for Facebook. The nextstop site will be closed on Sept. 1.
